Zillow 3D Home Tours in Madison, WI

Zillow promotes it. Zillow gives listings with a tour and interactive floor plan priority placement, including search tags, filters and buyer emails. Zillow reports that homes with an interactive floor plan get saved 79% more than homes without one.

Hosting is free for the life of the listing. Nothing renews and there's no subscription behind it.

One link, nearly everywhere. Add your tour link to the MLS and it syndicates to most major real estate sites. Zillow and Realtor.com also share an agreement that carries Zillow tours and interactive floor plans onto Realtor.com listings automatically. The same unbranded link works on social media and your own website, so you set it up once.

What about Matterport?

Matterport is excellent at what it was built for: precise, measurable scans of spaces, especially construction sites where every wall and run of pipe needs documenting. For selling a house, it comes up short. Since October 2025, Zillow and StreetEasy have not displayed Matterport tours, after CoStar, Matterport's owner, declined to renew their agreement. The two companies dispute why, but the result for a seller is the same. A Zillow tour is the opposite: it sits on the Zillow listing itself, carries to Realtor.com, and goes out across most major sites from one MLS link, with no hosting subscription behind it.

What the visit looks like

We capture the tour in the same visit as your photos, and you don't need to be there. Larger homes take longer, and it's billed at the same hourly rate as everything else. See pricing for typical costs by home size.

Pair it with listing photography or a walkthrough video to cover everything in one appointment.

Why Zillow's tour

It lives on the listing. The tour sits on the Zillow page itself, not behind a link to somewhere else.

The floor plan does real work. Buyers click a room on the plan and see the photos from that room. Room dimensions and square footage are Zillow's estimates, not a survey.
